Pending district and association collective bargaining agreement, the district is in the process of negotiating a return to in-person instruction to begin no later than Monday, April 5. The schedule is a “hybrid” model which allows for smaller cohort sizes, social distancing, and appropriate safety measures within a school day. The hybrid schedule supports in-person, direct instruction with a teacher in a morning session or an afternoon session, five (5) days a week, Monday through Friday.
Group A students would attend school in-person for up to 2.5 hours in the morning and learn at home through asynchronous instruction/assignments for up to 2.5 hours in the afternoon. Group B students would learn at home through asynchronous instruction/assignments for up to 2.5 hours in the morning and attend school in-person for up to 2.5 hours in the afternoon. Scheduling will be based on prioritized student groups reflected in the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and the Learning Continuity Plan (LCP).
