Our outstanding music and art programs inspire creativity and self-expression, while our diverse clubs and student activities help students build leadership skills, friendships, and a strong sense of belonging. Athletics are an important part of the China Lake experience. Our student-athletes learn teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and resilience while proudly representing the Phoenix both on and off the field. Whether students participate in sports, fine arts, clubs, or academic competitions, there is a place for everyone to thrive. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. We encourage parent and family involvement through volunteering, school events, parent organizations, and open communication. China Lake Junior High is also proud to be recognized as a Purple Star School, honoring our commitment to serving military-connected students and families. Welcome back, Phoenix! A brand-new school year is here, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this journey with each of you. Whether you're returning to campus or joining our China Lake family for the first time, know that you belong here, and we are excited to see all that you will accomplish this year.
The start of a new school year is filled with endless possibilities. It's a chance to set new goals, discover new interests, make new friends, and challenge yourself to grow in ways you never imagined. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, show kindness, overcome obstacles, and become the best version of yourself.
